The Saw Island Foundation’s President is Bus and Pat Mosbacher’s son, R. Bruce Mosbacher. Bruce was born and raised in New York, attended The Choate School and Stanford University (BA ‘76, JD ‘79). He has served on the boards of directors of a number of privately held and publicly traded companies as well as the boards of trustees of Castilleja School, Woodside Priory School and the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School.
Bruce’s wife, Nancy Ditz, is the Foundation’s secretary and administrator. Nancy was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and attended Castilleja School and Stanford University (BA ’76). Nancy was a successful long-distance runner and represented the United States in the marathon at the 1988 Olympic Games. Nancy has served on the boards of Castilleja School, USA Track & Field, World TEAM Sports, the Track & Field Foundation and the USOC Paralympic Advisory Committee (PAC), as well as several boards and committees at Stanford University. Nancy evaluates current and potential grants and works with grantees to monitor and measure grant outcomes.
